Team
Rachel Juengel
Founder & Executive Director
Rachel is an LGBTQ+ founder and was a victim of intimate partner violence. She has over twenty years of experience building relationships with external stakeholders, customers, and colleagues, primarily working in the logistics space. For ten years she was in strategic leadership roles. She also volunteered at a local hotline crisis center for eighteen months.
Our Story
For many years Rachel minimized and dismissed what happened to her. It wasn’t what she wanted, but she acquiesced, so she thought she had “consented."
Coercion isn't consent.
She still struggled labeling it for what it really was: intimate partner violence.
For Rachel, reporting was out of the question, and there are many more of us who are in the same boat after experiencing sexual violence.
It is likely we’ll never report, but we should have the opportunity to be heard.
All of our stories matter and deserve to be counted.
It wasn’t until she helped a loved one navigate whether or not to report after being sexually assaulted that she realized that not reporting is a valid choice.
It’s now become a mission to ensure that everyone who has been sexually assaulted can be heard and counted anonymously without having to report.
Advisors
We have a small group of survivors and trauma-informed therapists providing guidance and feedback.
